Black Friday in New Zealand
Black Friday 2026 is on Friday 27 November, and Cyber Monday follows on Monday 30 November. This page covers when Black Friday falls in New Zealand over the next few years, what to check before you buy a suitcase, handbag or wallet in the sales, and where to find reduced styles on our site.
When is Black Friday in NZ?
Black Friday is the Friday after the fourth Thursday in November, the day after Thanksgiving in the United States, so it always falls between 23 and 29 November. New Zealand shops follow the same calendar date.
- 2026: Black Friday on Friday 27 November, Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November
- 2027: Black Friday on Friday 26 November, Cyber Monday on Monday 29 November
- 2028: Black Friday on Friday 24 November, Cyber Monday on Monday 27 November
Many New Zealand retailers now spread their offers across the whole week, or the weekend through to Cyber Monday, rather than the Friday alone. Black Friday is not a public holiday in New Zealand; it is an ordinary working day.

What to check before you buy
- Size. For a cabin bag, check your airline's carry on limits first. Our carry on luggage size guide covers Air New Zealand, Jetstar and Qantas.
- Warranty. The luggage warranty period is listed in each product description, so compare it across cases as well as the price.
- Material and dimensions. The Features section on each product page lists the material, such as genuine leather or PU leather, and the product dimensions.
- Change of mind terms. Read our refund policy before you order. For online orders it offers an exchange or a credit note, not a refund, if you change your mind.

Can I change my mind about an online order?
We offer an exchange or a credit note, not a refund. Email us at sanmichellebagsmarketing@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order, and we can exchange it for a different product or give you an online credit voucher for the same value, valid for 12 months (shipping fees excluded).
Items must be in their original condition with all labels attached, along with proof of purchase, and you pay the return postage for a change of mind return. Full details are in our refund policy.
What if my item arrives faulty?
Email photos of the item and your order number to sanmichellebagsmarketing@gmail.com so we can assess it. For a manufacturing fault we usually try a repair first; other options are a replacement, a price reduction, an online credit note or a refund. We pay the return postage for faulty items, and you are also covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act. See our shipping policy for the full process.
How long does delivery take?
We process orders within 1 to 2 business days, and orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are processed the next business day. Delivery time then depends on the shipping method and your address, and you will get a tracking link by email once your order is dispatched.
Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on your location, and we deliver within New Zealand only. If you are buying Christmas gifts, order early, as carrier delays can add time.
